RPi – Investigation Report
Saturday 12th December 2009
High Beech, Epping Forest
10.30pm-3am

Attending Investigators:
Billie Skeggs, Simon Towse, Donna Snooks, Karl James , Marty Johnson, Kurt Fuller, Ben Wyman.

Equipment Present:
JVC Mini DV Camcorder, Olympus Digital Voice Recorder, 3x Digital Cameras, CellSensor EMF meter, RayTemp 3 IR Thermometer, In/Out Dual Display Thermometer, Ouija Board

We all met just outside the church of innocents at approx 10.30. as a team of 7 we scouted round the area taking digital photos and base readings to see where hot spots could be.
Base readings throughout the site were constant through out the investigation, with the exception of the ambient temperature and humidity dropping throughout the night
EMF= 0 / TEMP=4.2-3.7ºC / HUMIDIITY 70-65%
While doing base readings, we as a group recorded some EVP's within the grave yard area and around the rear of the church. We did not experience any EMF fluctuations, however Simon was adamant he heard some noises coming from the forest area. Being in an area with cars passing by, we couldn't  pinpoint its origin, or class it as paranormal for this reason.

On our Second pass of the site after a small break to warm up, we returned to the location where the  sounds were heard previously. Simon, Karl, Marty and Ben Participated in the Ouija. No EMF fluctuations were noted. However the Ouija board was 2°C Higher then the ambient temp with the pointed being a total of 7.5°C. We put these temperates down to the board and pointer being handled by the team. After some time and attempting to pull in a connection, we had movement to the letter W and not long after the letter X. Whether this was paranormal or not we do not know, as other then the footage of the session, no noises or EMF fluctuations were found.

After our second break (original time table thrown out the window), we decided to attempt a smaller group EVP session, we split into 2 groups.

Simon, Karl and Marty set off first. We quickly decided the best place to attempt to make contact would be round the back of the church where a large crossed tombstone was. We sat looking in different directions while we asked out questions and tried to get a response by using the digital voice recorder. During this we heard noises and we also constantly had seen a flashing light in a direction where the other group was nowhere near, There was not enough cars going past to of been able to do this on all occations. We also kept seeing shadows in various positions. We have no camcorder footage to prove this. After 20 minutes we decided it was time to let the other group attempt communication.

Secondly Billie, Donna, Ben, Kurt went off. After attempting to capture something we asked Simon over the radios where his team experience paranormal activity. So we headed to the same place and duplicated there EVP session. While doing the second part of the group session, no emf or temp fluctuations were found but Donna and Kurt felt very uneasy, Donna especially tight round the chest.
We felt it best to end the EVP here and regroup.

After a quick discussion of the events of the evening we moved over to Hangman Hill to see if the theory was true. With one of the cars parked up handbrake off the car did move what looked to be up hill, very quickly. Using a bottle of water poured on the road you could see the water itself run uphill.. which in turn mean it was actually a downhill segment. Just a trick on the eyes.

EVP Review

After Reviewing The EVP's we came across some anomolys. We wont go into full details here yet but feel free to discuss these in our forums.
